STRANGE NATURE GIN & TONIC

Ingredients
30ml/1oz Strange Nature Gin
100ml/3.5oz Mediterranean Tonic
Lots of Ice

 

Method: Fill glass with ice, add Strange Nature Gin and tonic, stir and garnish with lemon and thyme.

 

STRANGE NATURE PUNK NEGRONI

This recipe twists the classic, enhancing the fruity and herbaceous nature of Strange Nature gin.

 

Ingredients
30ml/1oz Strange Nature Pinot Noir Gin
30ml/1oz Dry Vermouth or Sweet Vermouth
30ml/1oz Premium Bitter Aperitif

 

Method: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir well until chilled and strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel or kaffir lime leaf.

THE BEES KNEES

A timeless classic, our Bee’s Knees is a harmonious blend of Strange Nature Barrel Aged Gin, infused with the rich flavours of honey syrup and fresh lemon juice.

 

Ingredients
60ml/2oz Strange Nature Barrel Aged Gin
30ml/1oz Fresh Lemon Juice
15ml/0.5oz Manuka Honey Syrup
Pinch of Salt

 

Method: Fill shaker with ice, add all ingredients and shake. Strain into a coupe glass and serve.

SUMMER SPRITZ

This one is easy-breezy to make and just as easy to drink! Amazing enjoyed on a warm afternoon or a long summer evening with friends.

 

Ingredients
30ml/1oz Strange Nature Gin
30ml/1oz Dry Vermouth
15ml/0.5oz Elderflower Cordial
1 tsp Olive Brine
100ml/3.5oz Soda Water

 

Method: Fill glass with ice, add all ingredients, stir and garnish with grapefuit and olive.

THE HOT & DIRTY MARTINI

Spice, brine, and a whole lot of attitude — meet your new favourite martini.

 

Ingredients
60ml/2oz Strange Nature Gin
10ml/0.3oz Fino Sherry
10ml/0.3oz Dry Vermouth
10ml/0.3oz Water
1 tsp Olive Brine
1 tsp Jalapeños Brine

 

Method: Set aside martini glass, filled with ice and water. Fill mixing glass with ice and all ingredients, stir for 30 seconds. Remove ice and water from the chilled martini glass, then strain the martini mix into the glass. Garnish to with olives & jalapeños.

Ingredients
60ml/2oz Strange Nature Gin
20ml/0.75oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
10ml/0.25oz Fresh Lime Juice
15ml/0.5oz Sugar Syrup*

 

*Sugar Syrup: 1:1 sugar and water. Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Heat over medium until the sugar dissolves, then let it cool.

Method: Fill shaker with ice, add all ingredients and shake. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with lime or grapefruit twist.

YUM YUM SHOTS

Part cocktail, part dare, and entirely unforgettable — these shots pack a wasabi punch, a gin kick, and a cheeky cherry chaser.

Serves: Up to 15 shots.

Ingredients
350ml/12oz Strange Nature Gin
1 Flat tsp of Wasabi
1/2 tsp of Salt
1/2 tsp of Freshly
Cracked Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Sugar
Cherry tomato for chaser

 

Method: Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Leave for 5 minutes and then strain through a fine sieve before bottling. Rest in the freezer for at least two hours before serving. Serve chaser as garnish.

STRANGELY SOUR

A gin sour reimaged with a grapefruit and apple shrub. Delivering flavours of zesty grapefruit and crisp apple, with a silky texture and refreshing aftertaste.

 

Ingredients
60ml/2oz Strange Nature Gin
30ml/1oz Grapefruit & Apple Shrub*
20ml/0.75oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
15ml/0.5oz Aquafaba or Egg White
5 Basil Leaves, extra for garnish

 

Method: Combine all ingredients in a shaker and then shake well for 10 seconds. Double strain into a frozen dessert wine glass or similar. Garnish with basil leaves.

GRAPEFRUIT & APPLE SHRUB RECIPE

Combine sugar, vinegar, and brine and stir to dissolve. Coarsely grate the apple and stir through syrup mix with shredded grapefruit peel. Keep in the fridge in an airtight container for two days before straining. Bottle and keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.

VINTER'S SWIZZLE

The ultimate summer refresher — juicy grapes meet fresh lemon and fragrant rosemary in a cocktail that’s as surprising as it is delicious. Shake it, strain it, and let the flavours dance!

 

Ingredients
60ml/2oz Strange Nature Gin
60ml/2oz Sour Grape Syrup*
3 Wedges of Fresh Lemon
Handful Fresh Rosemary
Fruit leather for garnish

 

Method: Squeeze 3 lemon wedges into a shaker with ice, rosemary, Strange Nature Gin and syrup. Shake hard for 10 seconds, strain over crushed ice and garnish.

SOUR GRAPE SYRUP RECIPE

Blend all ingredients together for 30 seconds. Strain through a fine sieve and bottle. Keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

GREEN GRAPES

50gm of pulpy ones please!

50GM CUCUMBER

Use the rest for a fancy garnish.

1+1/2 TSP CITRIC ACID

Available from the supermarket.

SUGAR AND SALT

100gm sugar + 1/2 tsp salt.

PASSIONFRUIT DAIQUIRI

A blend of bright passionfruit, tart lime, and crystallised ginger, this daiquiri is a tropical story in every sip. Sweet, bold, and impossible to ignore.

 

Ingredients
60ml/2oz Strange Nature Gin
20ml/0.75oz Fresh Lime Juice
40ml/1.25oz Passionfruit Syrup
2 Pieces of Crystallised Ginger
1 Cup of Ice

 

Method: Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with crystallised ginger and botanicals.
