THE GOLDEN AGE OF STRANGE

Strange Nature gin as we know it, has been gracefully aged for nine months in French and European wine barrels. The French hogshead 400L barrels lend bold oak spice, vanilla and richness up front. Whilst the large 1000L Fuder barrels offers a slower, more subtle maturation that lets the grape base shine through.

40% ABV, Proudly Made in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Multi-layered with a comforting warmth, elevating the sipping experience to new heights. Barrel aging has preserved the signature flavours of Strange Nature while unveiling elegant new characteristics and intriguing complexity. Layers of lime and orange peel are complemented by rich toffee with a hint of cinnamon spice.

Rested in oak barrels once home to fine wine, this gin leans deeper, darker, and richer. Warm spice, subtle sweetness, and a smooth, lingering finish. What emerged is our most layered expression yet.

THE DIRTY MARTINI

 

60ml/2oz Strange Nature Barrel Aged Gin
10ml/0.3oz Fino Sherry
10ml/0.3oz Dry Vermouth
10ml/0.3oz Water
1 tsp Olive Brine

Set aside martini glass, filled with ice and water.
Fill mixing glass with ice and all ingredients, stir for 30 seconds. Remove ice and water from the chilled martini glass, then strain the martini mix into the glass. Garnish with olives to serve.
